The Navitimer is considered to be one of the most iconic vintage pilot watches, and continues to be popular among collectors today. The model was developed in collaboration with the AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). This beauty carried over the all-black dial but was fitted with the Venus 178 chronograph movemen. This example is unusual in that it has a Breitling signature on top of the AOPA wing logo. It has an Ò806Ó engraving on the back, with the nice beaded bezel that was prominently used in earlier Navitimer models.

CONDITION
Overall, the watch is in very good condition. The case is sharp and likely to be unpolished, with the bevel on the lugs and the caseback engraving still sharp. The beaded bezel is also in very good condition as well. The crown and pushers appear to be original. The dial shows a beautiful overall patina. The lume on the numerals and hands has darkened to an even color that goes very well with the rest of the dial. The watch is in running condition with the chronograph starting, stopping, and resetting correctly at this time.
