The first Day-Date was released in 1956, it has always been a perfectly balanced thing of beauty displaying the characters of what an unambiguous piece looks like. The well-balanced dial, as well as the day and date display were innovative for the time. The reference you see here is the 1803, which was part of the second series of Day-Dates released in 1958. The 1803 can be identified by the fluted bezel where this example of the yellow-gold version from 1973 has a linen dial that is flawless and combining with the simplistic stick indexes, its a watch displaying great taste. this particular example will only age better with time.

This watch is in exceptional condition for a watch in the 1970s. The case is untouched with some light scratches throughout. the rare linen is understated yet elegant with incredible with a full set of lume plots. The bracelet is also well preserved with some slight stretch and scratches.
